The premise

AI-assisted development has changed the economics of custom software. It has not removed maintenance, security, integrations, edge cases, or opportunity cost.

At the same time, conventional software comparison sites mostly compare one vendor with another. We compare the strongest buying options with a realistic good-enough build.

Independence

Some links may eventually be affiliate links. Commercial relationships will be disclosed, and they will never determine the verdict. Build, buy, hybrid, and “don't solve yet” must all remain possible outcomes.

Version one

The initial publication is built in Norway and written primarily in English. Norwegian analyses will focus on decisions where local pricing, regulation, integrations, or business practices materially change the answer.
